THE WAY WE WORK AND SCOPE OF OUR PRODUCT SUPPLY

TheWebGorillas Works With Sponsors in Two Ways:

  • Per project, for example, we create a SaaP website and deploy it for you (our word for client is sponsor).
  • Ongoing support: for example, we maintain your server security and manage secure backups for you on a monthly basis.

TheWebGorillas Work Guides And Policies

Jargon-Free

We prefer to avoid technical jargon because most of it is redundant when discussing projects, goals, and outcomes. Jargon is best used between those who need to use it. No matter how complicated a project may be, we can always discuss it with you in simple terms. In this way, we are also very clear on the scope of the project.

Task-Project Cycles

We don’t assign workloads by job title, category, or profession. We breakdown the project into tasks, which allows us to work asynchronously with minimal communication between our freelancers unless required.

Team Leads

All digital projects have five main areas: architecture, copy (SEO), design, dev, and cyber. Each of these teams has a lead who is in charge of all tasks related to that domain and may also assign freelancers in our collaborative to complete tasks inside that domain.

Each team lead has full ownership of their domain and does not do any work outside of that, although the team lead may have intervention rights with another team, depending on the situation. Here are some examples:

Dev Leads would never be expected to do any visual design work.
The Cyber Lead may have “intervention” rights with the Dev Lead.
A Cyber Lead will execute extensive penetration testing on a staging website and provide that information to the Dev Lead to rectify.

The Architecture Lead is Your Contact and Project Manager

We have developed this methodology over the past 20 years and have numerous intricate templates that allow us to setup the workflow required to complete your project efficiently and cost-effectively.

We Don’t Do Deadlines

First of all, we don’t charge by the hour. We charge by the project. This means that the time taken to complete each task and your project perfectly takes the time it does to complete and no more. Furthermore, even the concept of deadlines conjures up feelings of stress, pressure, and negativity. We use Targets, and in most cases, we beat them.

We don’t have deadlines for any tasks. We don’t have deadlines for any milestones. We don’t set deadlines for projects. Automated notifications on the progress of your project that are relevant to you will be sent automatically as those tasks are completed.

Workplace culture trends exemplified by job postings on LinkedIn are inefficient, cause errors, cause stress, cause delays, and do not focus on quality. Here are some examples of what we definitely do not do:

“Work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously” (we consider this statement ridiculous)
“A fast-growing company that is built on a high-impact, fast-paced culture” (we avoid those who want to pressure us)

Asynchronous Collaboration

Efficiently allocating tasks for distributed teams and matching that with asynchronous collaboration allows us to use the full 24 hours in the day to work on your project. The fact is it ridiculous to demand distributed workforces to work at the same time, and even worse, people waste time in offices all day long, talking shit most of the time, unlike our collaborators.

Our task-based methodology allows our professionals to do their tasks on their own time, and once a task is complete, the next professional is automatically notified. Multiple task funnels are programmed into our project management methodology so that there are always a number of tasks being completed by a number of specialists.

Our methodology avoids bottlenecks, and once you experience how we work, you will appreciate the consistency, calmness, professionalism, and quality of our work. Asynchronous collaboration, multiplexing, and our other “appropriate for today” ways we work and communicate are incredibly efficient because

Optimized Milestone Meetings

Meetings are important between you and your project architect. On the flipside, over communication can also be a burden and create unnecessary We automate notifications to keep you informed, but you can always be sure someone is working on your project. We use Google Workspaces to manage all of our projects, which provides time-stamping, identification, and what was done in great detail. We generally do not share all of this information, as it is unnecessary and you do not need to know it all, and much of it is our proprietary knowledge.

Charges and Payments

We offer the following payment options:

  • Onsite debit/credit card payments (once terms have been reached, we will send you the link for you to pay through on this website)
  • Direct money transfers from any bank or financial institution
  • USDT currency transfers to the address we nominate (most preferred method)
